RALLY — Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 15, 2026
This privacy policy describes how RALLY ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application on iOS.
Information We Collect
Automatically collected
- Device information — device model, iOS version, locale, timezone, and approximate region (for ad serving and consent determination).
- Usage data — anonymous gameplay metrics (matches played, Rally Depth reached, tournament progression) stored locally and used to improve the game.
- Ad interactions — when you tap "Daily Boost" and view an optional rewarded ad, we record whether the ad completed. We do not record ad content.
- Advertising identifier (IDFA) — only if you choose "Allow" on Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, no IDFA is read or shared.
Provided by you
- In-app purchases — processed entirely by Apple's StoreKit. Purchase confirmations are validated on your device; we never see your payment details, billing address, or Apple ID.
We do NOT collect
- Your name, email, phone number, or other personal identifiers.
- Your precise location.
- Your photos, contacts, microphone, or camera.
- Any financial account data, credit card numbers, or bank details.
- Any health or biometric data.
How We Use Your Information
- To run the game on your device (save tournament progress, Rally Points balance, owned themes and opponents, accessibility settings).
- To serve rewarded advertisements through Google AdMob, if you have consented and have not purchased RALLY Full Unlock or Founder's Pack.
- To improve the game by reviewing anonymous aggregate usage metrics.
- To process in-app purchases through Apple StoreKit.
Third-Party Services
RALLY integrates with the following third parties, each governed by their own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob — serves optional rewarded advertisements. See Google's privacy policy.
- Google UMP (User Messaging Platform) — presents the consent dialog used in the EU, UK, Switzerland, and applicable US states.
- Apple StoreKit — processes all in-app purchases. See Apple's privacy policy.
- Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) — controls whether your advertising identifier (IDFA) is shared with ad partners.
RALLY does not use Game Center, iCloud sync, Facebook SDK, Firebase, or any social-media integration.
Your Choices & Rights
- App Tracking Transparency — iOS asks you once whether to allow tracking. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- GDPR & US state consent — if you're in the EU, UK, Switzerland, or an applicable US state, RALLY shows a consent dialog before serving personalized ads. You can revisit your choices from the in-app Settings.
- Remove ads entirely — purchase RALLY Full Unlock ($4.99) or the Founder's Pack ($9.99, 90-day launch window only). Neither ever shows an ad prompt thereafter.
- Right to delete — all your data is stored on your device. Deleting the app removes all data.
Data Storage & Retention
- All gameplay data (tournament progress, Rally Points, owned themes, mastery stars, settings) is stored locally on your device using iOS's standard
localStorage / UserDefaults. Nothing is uploaded.
- Aggregated, anonymous analytics are handled entirely by Apple's built-in App Analytics. These never include identifiers that could tie back to you.
- Ad interaction records are handled by Google AdMob under Google's retention policies.
Data Sharing & Selling
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not transfer your information to any party other than the service providers listed in "Third-Party Services" above, and only as needed to operate the features you use.
Children's Privacy
RALLY is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove such information.
Legal Compliance
RALLY is designed to comply with:
- The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.
- The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
- US state privacy laws including those of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Texas.
- The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
- Apple App Store review guidelines, including App Tracking Transparency.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be surfaced in the app itself on the next launch.
